Application processes for Prospecting License.

Direct Application to the Director of Mines. There is a prescribed form to do that.
Through international tender. The International Tender itself will prescribe the requisites.

Letter of Intent

Once the application or international tender is being lodged, the Mines and Minerals Board will meet. A recommendation will be made. A letter
of intent will be issued to the successful Applicant.

Surface Access Agreement

Once the successful Applicant is issued with the letter of Intent, he is required to negotiate with the customary land owners for an access

Prospecting License.

Once the access agreement is signed, the Prospecting license is issued. Prospecting license are issued for three years.

Minerals Export Permit

A company may apply to the Director of Mines for Export of Minerals Permit. This application is in a prescribed form.
